HOLISTIC PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY

As a fully qualified, well-trained and an insured therapist, as well as having grown up with ayurvedic principles allows me to offer a unique fusion of Eastern and Western healing philosophies and a rare blend of techniques from both customs. The therapies I offer go beyond my training as a professional therapist through living a life style very close to nature, with a deep understanding of human anatomy/physiology as well as the healing intuition that evolved throughout my childhood.
I believe it is my job and passion to provide the most effective rehabilitative advice to my clients based on my knowledge and expertise, which will not only enrich their lifestyle but allow their health to flourish. As a holistic therapist, I look at every aspect of my clients' health rather than just addressing a specific issue.
I offer Swedish massage, reflexology of the feet, aromatherapy, facial reflexology, deep rooted relaxing full-body massage, Indian head massage, neuro-muscular work, acupressure, basic shiatsu as well as natural healthy eating advice and guidance on self-help.

you touch everything."

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian head massage is an ayurvedic therapy that originates from a practice that is thousands of years old. Its part of a healing art that has been practised in India for a very long time to nurture the body both physically and mentally.
The treatment involves massage of the head, face, neck, shoulders and upper back. Three out of the seven strong energy centres(the brow, the crown and the throat) also known as chakras are in that area. Indian head massage stimulates these energy centres which leads to sense of well being on a physical, psychological as well as subtle level.
There are many benefits related to this ayurvedic therapy, to name a few: it improves blood circulation, helps with the lymph drainage from the head and neck essentially getting rid of toxins, improves mental concentration, helps with insomnia, promotes the feeling of deep and long lasting peace as well helping with headaches etc. But the main traits of this practice are its de-stressing and uplifting elements.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is based on similar principles than acupuncture. It is believed that there are different zones of energy meridian lines that run through our entire bodies. If there is a blockage or an imbalance within these meridians, then a person is more susceptible to becoming ill and catching disease. By balancing and opening up these pathways of energy one can restore a healthy functioning body with equilibrium.
According to reflexology, feet are the mirror of organs and parts of human body. During a reflexology treatment, by using pressure on certain reflex points, these points are stimulated encouraging the opening of neural pathways and allowing the body to return to its natural rhythm.
By stimulating these reflex points and identifying the area where the body is out of balance, it is possible to work those area to restore, balance and revitalized the natural equilibrium of the body.
DEEP-ROOTED RELAXING MASSAGE
SWEDISH MASSAGE
A massage therapy has a whole array of objectives and benefits. Whether someone is looking just to relax and balance themselves emotionally or someone looking to deal with a muscular problem, a particularly tailored massage is suited for each individual.
Relaxing massage brings a great number of different types of aid to the body like improve blood circulation, promote deeper and easier breathing, lymph movement, reducing levels of anxiety and depression, relieve pain etc.
Swedish massage can be a very slow, gentle and relaxing but can also be vigorous and deep tissue. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.
But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension in the muscles.
